Everything started in a New-York bar named Sin Sin in January 2009. At the counter, the DJ / producer Zajazza met Core Rhythm , a NYC born and bread Emcee who found his roots in streets, the theatre and cinema.

A few days later, in a Brooklyn studio, the first pieces of the two artists began to emerge. The voice, that of a throat aged by cigar smoke" Uncle Haywood " delivers a deep rap, that smells of New York ‘s streets and Martinic ‘s rhum ...

His lyrics recount the bohemian life he traversed between New-York, Kingston and Barcelona within a bevy of jazzpsychedelic instrumentals.

Zajazza , globetrotting for years, bought his MPC in Brazil, in the Moroccan souks, and the unhealthy bars of New Orleans to prepare a spicy , smoky mixture ...

The album was recorded in New-York, Barcelona and Lyon over a period of 3 years and will come out with label Original Watts on January 27th , 2015 in digital format."

This album is HIGHLY recommended!! Imagine if Boards of Canada blended with the ambient disc of Moby's "Hotel" and threw in some surprise bits of experimental rock and some subtle instrumental hip-hop influences. This is a VERY lush and extremely expansive set. Thorough has jumped leaps and bounds ahead of his immensely beautiful, "Bird," making that album come off as a mere practice run for this one by comparison! An impressive feat, indeed! Truly a stunning sonic display! Allan Raible
